Dear Editor,
Our Cultural Centre is a place where Guyanese can go to for live entertainment, whether it is dance, music, theatre.
The CLICO meeting that was recently held there was a gross violation of a cultured space.
Meetings of this kind should be held in spaces that are more conducive to this kind of agenda e.g. the Convention Centre or in the case of CLICO where there was a litany of immoral behaviour, a more rightful place would have been in a tented Independence Park (Parade Ground)!
Please leave our cultural spaces as they should be…for cultural activities, for artists, for musicians.
Deo Persaud
