Dr. Anthony opens Supligen National Dominoes Final
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr. Frank Anthony officially opened the Supligen National Dominoes Final yesterday at the National Gymnasium, wishing the participating teams well before encouraging them to show true sportsmanship in the battle.
The competition, which started yesterday, will continue today at the same venue, after which the presentation ceremony will be held for the event that lasted more than four weeks. Out of the 240 teams that started the tournament only 24 reached the Final.
Among those who made brief remarks at the opening ceremony were Beepat’s Managing Director Jonathan Beepat and Supligen representative and Nestle Brand Manager, Selwyn Bobb.
Anthony congratulated the teams for their discipline over the weeks.
