Eleven year-old Victoria Harry of Port Mourant copped the top prize when the winner of the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club 20th Anniversary Essay Competition was announced on Wednesday last.
Harry was chosen from among dozens of students who submitted essays on the topic ‘Why Education and Sports is important to me’.

The essay competition was organised by the club’s Farfan and Mendes Under-15 and Pepsi Under-19 cricket teams. Ms. Harry in her winning essay stated that in today’s modern world where technology is central to everything, a person without education would find it very difficult to succeed.
