British High Commissioner says farewell
British High Commissioner and his wife, Fraser and Sarah Wheeler, on the occasion of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, bade farewell to colleagues and friends after a four year stint in Guyana. President Bharrat Jagdeo attended the event and applauded Britain’s exemplary policy and support for a binding agreement on steep emission cuts and adequate climate change financing. The event was held at the Bel Air residence of British High Commissioner Fraser Wheeler, and was attended by several members of the Diplomatic community, Government officials and Members of Parliament.
