The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will host its Presentation Ceremony today for the recently-concluded National Sports Commission-sponsored Independence tournament.
The event is scheduled to start at 4pm at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
All respective prize winners and patrons of the sport were invited to attend the ceremony, which is expected to celebrate female racquet wielder, Chelsea Edghill on her remarkable feat for being the top female player with five titles in the tournament.
It is the first time that Edghill has accomplished the feat.
She will share the limelight today with many other local tennis players, including Nigel Bryan, Trenace Lowe, Natalie Cummings, Paul Meusa and the emerging talent, Joel Alleyne.
