The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) yesterday released the names of 19 players to continue preparations for the upcoming CAC Games which will be staged, at the National Stadium on July 24-25.
Chairman of Selectors Mike McCormack announced the names of the players who will go forward from the original squad of 24.
Those retained are (forwards)- Avery Corbin, Theodore Henry, Ryan Hinckson, Walter George, Cyon Kitt, Jason Tyrell, Troy Arjoon, Elwin Chase and Dwayne Schroeder; (half backs)-Troy Bascom, Ryan Gonsalves, Peobo Hamilton and Christopher Singh, while the (backs ) are Claude Alexander, Claudius Butts, Dane Parks, Joseph Rahaman, Kevin McKenzie and Leon Greaves.
Meanwhile, the Union has planned a one-day round of trials for the National Stadium on Saturday.
