Cop tries to sodomise pensioner in lock-ups

Sixty-eight year-old Neville Oxford was not prepared to have his manhood violated by a policeman who arrested him last Sunday night, so he put a fierce fight, wounding the cop in the process.
Oxford, called ‘Sleepy’,of 161 Mocha, East Bank Demerara, was made to strip almost naked by the policeman who then attempted to sodomise him.

But according to the pensioner, there was no way that he was going to allow himself to be violated, especially by a policeman.
Speaking with Kaieteur News, Oxford recounted the sordid details of what transpired last Sunday night at the Mocha Police Outpost.
He said that on Sunday around 20:00hours he was drinking with some friends in Mocha when the Constable came up to him and requested his presence at the Mocha Outpost. The cop did not tell Oxford what he wanted him for.
The pensioner subsequently went to the station where he was immediately ordered to take off his clothes and his shoes by the rank, who was alone at the time.
He was then ordered into the lock-ups and he complied not knowing what was in store for him, since he was under the influence of alcohol.
“After he put me in de lock-ups, he lef and go back outside.
Then I see he tek off he pants and come in back with he underpants. He den tell me tek off me briefs.”
Oxford still did not know what the cop was planning but he complied nevertheless.
“When I tek off me underpants, he mek, whap… one cuff to me face. So I seh ‘boy wha you cuff me for?’
He pelt another cuff and ah duck and ah ketch he two foot and lash he down,” Oxford recalled.
The policeman, realizing what he was up against, immediately ordered the brave pensioner out of the outpost.
He sustained a wound to his head as a result of the fall which left blood on the floor.
Oxford subsequently made his way to the Providence Police Station where he reported the matter.
Meanwhile, the Constable remained on the job up to yesterday.
Oxford is convinced that the policeman had wanted to sodomise him and he was having none of that.
“Because if I tek off me pants and then he go and tek off he own, is wha? I done know is wha he coming wid. If I didn’t do that meh brother, he woulda soften me good, beat me good inside de lock-ups and then #*@* me,” Oxford said.
This newspaper visited the outpost yesterday but the ranks had already left for home.
However, a source told this newspaper that when another rank turned up for work on Monday morning and enquired about the blood on the floor, the rank told her that it was from a dog that had wandered into the outpost.
Although the matter was reported, a senior police official in the division told this newspaper that he was unaware of the incident.
Oxford said that he is willing to facilitate a full investigation since he has heard reports that the rank in question had committed similar acts on both females and males who were held at the Mocha Lock-ups.
