What is happening to our country, why are we falling apart?
There is no love or respect for the life or presence of our follow brethren.
We are all aware that the world is going through a crisis, but why take our anger and frustration out on the very flesh and blood that resembles our existence?
The articles you read and hear in the media are quite discouraging, especially when no justice is done.
What is happening, and where are we going? As a nation there is no way we can climb the first treadle of becoming a develop nation with such arrogance towards each other.
We must exercise a sense of appreciation and well being for the citizens of this land of ours: doing everything in our power to improve or enhance the lives of those from the bottom up.
But instead we have allowed greed and selfishness to captivate our hearts, leaving no room to think or care for others to the extent that we even kill, humiliate or disfigured them to get what we want.
God is watching us and taking note of the things we do and say, and one day we will have to give account for our actions. So while we are deceiving the eyes of man, God’s steady face is upon us.
Our government may think there are getting away with the negative influence there’ve had on our society, but Patrick Manning could’ve not imagine the day will come when he might have to answer corruption charges – nothing bad goes on forever.
As a citizen of this country, I urge ever Guyanese to hold fast to their faith and pray for this nation that begot them, not only for an improve standard of living and good governance, but for the future of our children – God bless you Guyana.
