Dem boys fly out of Guyana to follow de riflemen. Dem see Henry, de Top Cop, in first class right up in de front of de plane. Paul Slowe is another big one in de force and he travel too but he had to travel wid de riflemen in de coach.
De plane tek off and people start to relax. These days de airline don’t serve food like bellyful because dem done cut down.
According to dem boys, Henry had to walk wid he own fish and bread to keep he appetite. No juice and biscuit and nut coulda keep he up.
In fact, dem boys seh that is de same appetite mek he don’t travel long distance. He does get hungry although in first class dem have latitude because dem can eat on order.
When de plane was to land dem boys get worried because of de weight at de front.
Dem insist that things woulda been rough because dem expect de nose of de plane to go right down because it weigh down.
Dem get a surprise. It was de softest landing dem ever had. De plane couldn’t bounce even if it did want to.
And dem boys who like talk like Jamaicans suddenly talking Guyanese. Is big trouble in Jamaica and de Americans got dem eyes pun all Jamaicans. All de time Guyanese want sound like Jamaicans.
Dem talking pun radio and dem sound like Jamaicans, dem talking among demselves and dem sound like Jamaicans. Now all of dem remember that dem is Guyanese. De twang gone.
De man, Dudus, after de Americans claim that dem want he fuh jail he fuh life, send around de world fuh all dem Jamaicans to support he by visiting Jamaica and shooting anybody who try to arrest he.
Dem Guyanese refuse to heed de call. De few Jamaicans in de country who approach dem suddenly couldn’t understand what de locals were saying. De accent gone and a real Guyanese accent tek over.
Tom drunk but Tom ain’t stupid.
