Cross dresser takes poison
A post mortem examination on the body of 22-year-old Eon Scott, of 46 Stanleytown, New Amsterdam, which was done on Thursday by Dr Nehaul Singh at the New Amsterdam hospital, showed that he died from pesticide poisoning, which apparently was self administered.
The family was claiming that he was poisoned by someone else. However, no food was found in the stomach.
It was reported that the man had told investigators that he had ingested Gramozone because of a broken relationship.
The man was a customer service representative attached to NPI Communications (Blue Sky) at Lot 1 Tain, Corentyne. Scott, who was described as a cross dresser, became ill after visiting his friend, Dianne De Jonge, in the Mayor and Town Council Scheme, on May 7.
He was rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital after his condition worsened. He died the same day while receiving medical attention.
