Who is responsible?
Dear Editor,
Can President Bharrat Jagdeo or the Attorney General, Charles Ramson appoint someone to oversee the Land Deeds and Land Transfer Department?
Why is it taking so long to process people’s land transfer?
It is almost two year since the process had started – transferring a property from my father’s name to my name.
I have just learned from my lawyer that the file has been lost at the Deeds Registry office. How can this be, who is responsible? When would red tape, go-slow, bureaucracy and corruption end?
