McGowan and Kildonan were the latest teams to score victories in the Berbice Zone of this year’s Annual Primary Schools Windball Cricket Tournament which was played recently at the Port Mourant Community Centre ground.

(Girls)
McGowan beat Kildonan by 24 runs.
McGowan made 60-1 off the allotted 5 overs with Shanella Campbell hitting an aggressive 39 not out, while Shemila Munroe supported with 11 not out.
Kildonan in reply, were restricted to 36-5. Campbell grabbed 3-7 and Munroe 2-8.
Eversham then went down to McGowan by 10 wickets.
Eversham reached 22-3 with Annmaria Gentle making 10.
McGowan ended on 23-0. Onika Profitt scored 10.
(Boys)
Eversham lost to Kildonan by 8 wickets.
Eversham made 38-4 with Isaiah Adwin 10. Alex Williams picked up 2-4.
Kildonan in their turn at the crease knocked off the required runs, finishing on 42-2. Jagdesh Sydney stroked 21 and Remrick Kyte 10.
McGowan and Kildonan played to a tie.
McGowan made 42 with Sylus Tyndall hitting 21.
Kildonan’s innings closed on 42-2 with Alex Williams stroking 14.
