Dear Editor,
After reading Mr. Freddie Kissoon’s article in yesterday’s (2010- 05-04) edition of the Kaieteur News captioned “Did Robert Corbin get conned?”, I couldn’t help but ponder on the likely reaction of those who share Mr. Kissoon’s “assessment”; if within the coming months it is announced that Mr. Corbin is likely to be Prime Minister of Guyana under a shared/ inclusive governance arrangement.
I am reminded of Winston Churchill who said “A politician needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year, and to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen.”
