New Amsterdam upset Kitty
Wortmanville/Werk-en-Rust made a graceful exit from the Mackeson National Super Ward Basketball Championship Thursday night with their second win of the tournament while New Amsterdam upset Kitty/Campbellville.
Wortmanville won 60-51 against South Ruimveldt with Triston Lake scoring 14 points, Royston Siland and Kurt Elias 12 points each. Fabian Johnson, Gavin Beeram and Yannick Wade had 10 points each for South Ruimveldt.
New Amsterdam shocked Kitty in the second game with a 75-71 points win that Randy Richardson and Randy Caesar set up with 15 and 17 points each. Carlos Crandon had 10 also for New Amsterdam in the game.
Devon Bacchus and Shane Webster had 20 points each for Kitty.
