Seerja Construction Company sponsors Windball Cricket
Seerja Construction Company has undertaken to sponsor this year’s Region 3 Primary Schools Windball Cricket Competition which is scheduled to commence next Thursday with an opening ceremony, at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground.
According to the Organisers Al Sport & Tour Promotions, schools from the West Coast of Demerara and East Bank Essequibo will participate in the tournament which will have competition in both the boys and girls categories.
Sport Organiser Alister Munroe disclosed that Seerja Construction Company’s Bholanauth Ramraj, a resident of Region #3 has been supporting the development of the sport at all levels in the schools for more than five years and was very happy to be involved once again.
Meanwhile, other ceremonies will be held at Wales Community Centre on April 27, Leguan on May 13 and Wakenaam on May 18.
