Guyana prevail against Bermuda
Strong and vocal crowd support willed Guyana to a 29-28 victory over Bermuda in the Regional Netball Championship currently underway.
With the seconds quickly running out, Guyana scored what would be the winning goal. The players ran off the court screaming with joy, while their many supporters in the stands shared in the excitement of the victory.
Scoring in Guyana’s 29 goals were Kristy Roberts 14/17, Shonette Estwick 15/19. Bermuda 28 (Jahtuere Trott 16/22, Kirstin Saltus 12/15).
