Unity for the Nation Mashramani Race Walk fixed for NA

Sports Organiser and Coordinator of the Unity of the Nation Organisation in New Amsterdam Berbice Eli Hazel in collaboration with the Sold Out Disco have organized a Walk race around the town of New Amsterdam which is fixed for February 23rd (Mashramani Day).
Using his Unity for the Nation initiative, Hazel said that the event will be done in recognition of Mashramani Day.
The 6 miles event starts at 06:30 hrs, with the walkers moving off from 39 Stanleytown outside of the Sold Out Disco.  The participants will then proceed along the main Road, into Tacama turn make a left turn into Republic Road follow the road through Winkle, proceed around the New Amsterdam hospital, back unto main road where they will finish at the starting point.
Cash incentives will be available to the top finishers which will include the youngest and oldest walkers.
