A 31-year-old minibus driver, who allegedly had carnal knowledge of a girl under 15 years, was yesterday remanded to prison by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson.
Randolph Nedd, of Durban Street, Lodge, was not required to plead since the charge was indictable. He was represented by attorney at law Abiola Wong.
The court was told that incident occurred at Nedd’s home. It was further stated that the child was seen entering the said building, and shortly after, someone contacted the child’s grandmother to inform her of the development. The accused was subsequently arrested and charged
Nedd is scheduled to make another court appearance on February 19.
