Stop misleading the public on Cabinet Outreach

A letter (January 15, 2010 Kaieteur News) captioned, “Cabinet Outreach on the Corentyne Coast ‘’, was misleading and politically inclined to damage the whole purpose of the Cabinet Outreach in Region 6.
I wish to inform the public that meetings were held in the entire region from Mara to Crabwood Creek. I was shocked when I saw Mr. Suseran’s letter.
Advertisement was aired on both NCN and LRTVS for days. There were three meetings on the East Bank of Berbice, two in New Amsterdam, one in West Canje, three in East Canje, just to mention a few in the area in question.
I would also like to mention that special praised should be given to the effective management in order for this exercise to be completed in a day. The President visit on Corentyne is not because of supporter, but care for his people.
Issues that were raised will be taken care of by the President and his Cabinet; most of these issues are nothing major; this is because of the excellent work of the Regional Chairman Mr. Z. Mustapha and his team. For information purposes the Regional Chairman visited all the areas during the year and didn’t wait on Cabinet Outreach to do so.
Mr. Suseran often writes negative things about the Government and the Regional Democratic Council (RDC)
