Neal and Massy Security Solutions (NMSS) retained their title in the 2009 Edward ‘Andy’ Andrews Memorial Dominoes competition for teams in the Neal and Massy Group.
In the final played Friday evening at the Group’s staff facility at Ruimveldt, NMSS amassed 79 games to edge out NMSL with 77 games while Demerara Oxygen Company (DOCOL) ended in the cellar position with 70 games.

Desmond Singh was the top marker for the winners with 17 games while Shafeek Ali recorded 16.
Rodnew McDonald of NMSL scored maximum 18 games while Quincy James and Royston Layne secured 14 games apiece for DOCOL.
Ray Ishmael was the lone lovebird. NMSS secured the Edward ‘Andy’ Andrews Memorial Trophy, $10,000 and medals for winning the title. NMSL copped $5,000 while DOCOL $2,000.
Hemraj Singh, Coordinator of NMSL presented the prizes on behalf of Group Chief Executive officer Deo Persaud to captain of NMSS Julian Velloza at the presentation ceremony.
The other competing teams in the tournament included AINLIM, Marketing and Distribution (M&D) and Trade and Distribution Inc. (TDI).
