Another Essequibian is the fourth winner of US$500 in the fourth draw in the “get ready to be a winner.”
An excited Evelyn Belfield, of Abram Zuil Village, told this newspaper that Fernleaf has always been her choice of milk and that this win was her first.
She noted that ever since Fernleaf started the promotion she initially made numerous entries by filling out the coupons.
The owner, of Imam Bacchus General Store, at Affiance, also received US$500. The store proffered the winning entry.
In the second draw of the Fernleaf competition Essequibian Rabeena Rajcoomar and Shevon France, of Grant Dublin, Lower Pomeroon each won US$500.
Supermarket owners Iftikar Mohamed and Toolise Ram, also received US$500 on that occasion.
Present at yesterday’s ceremony was Samuel Arjoon, Sales Manager of Geddes Grant.
Mr. Arjoon thanked the winner for her continued purchase of Fernleaf milk and also Imam Bacchus for partnering with Fernlead brand and Geddes Grant.
Mrs. Belfield said she plans pledging a part of her winning to her church.
