DCC clash with Floodlights in return fixture

The Demerara Cricket Club will again take on the Floodlights Squad tomorrow night at the DCC Ground on Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown, in a match which is dubbed as ‘the return’.
The 25 overs softball match starts at 6:00pm and a keen contest is expected. DCC won the first match which was played 3 months ago where Christopher Barnwell slammed 91 and Roger Harper bowled brilliantly to feature prominently in their victory.
This time the Floodlight team who are preparing for Florida Cup 2010 to be played on February 12, 13 and 14 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, will look to turn things around against DCC.
The ball that will be used in this match would be the ball which is being used in the USA for softball competitions. Admission is free and all trophies for this match are sponsored by Kemal Seebaran Managing Director of Rays Motor Spares and Auto Sales of Sheriff Street, Georgetown.
