Fund raising 10/10 cricket competition on today in Berbice
The Sunset Association Promotion group has organised a one day 10/10 cricket competition and Fun Day, slated for today at the Edinburgh Community Centre, East Bank Berbice, beginning 10:00 hrs.
A number of top teams in Berbice have entered to participate in the cricket competition and among them are Rose Hall Community Centre, Young Warriors Cricket Club, Bermine Cricket Club, Police Cricket Club, Edinburgh sports and Aroma Sports Club.
The Winning teams and other outstanding participants will receive trophies and other memorabilia compliments of the organisers.
A number of side attractions and novelty events will also be a part of the day’s activity including cycle racing, flat racing and the popular Tug O War.
The best dancers in Berbice will also be on show in various dancing competitions.
Proceeds from the day’s activity will go towards persons living with disabilities in Region Six.
