Double-header on today at Tucville
Play in the NAMILCO Football Festival continues today with two more matches at the Tucville ground.
In the opening game at Fruta Conquerors play hosts to New Amsterdam United from 18:00 hrs, while in the feature clash BV Triumph travel to Georgetown to battle BK Western Tigers at 20:00 hrs.
Meanwhile in the latest results: GDF defeated Buxton Stars 2-1 with Devon Harris (11) and Stellon David (67), the players on target for the winners, while Colwin Barnwell scored the lone goal for the visitors.
In the other game, Santos eased past TOP XX by a 2-0 margin with Michael Pedro (20), netting off a penalty and Trevor Lewis (79) completing their tally.
The other scheduled game between Riddim Squad and Pele did not take place and is re-scheduled for tomorrow, at the same venue.
