Dear Editor,
Freddie Kissoon column on Saturday October 17, captioned, “On this Diwali day, East Indian must join the train of historical truth”
Hoyte had returned to substantive democracy by 1989.
Freddie is this the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth?
Did Hoyte really returned substantive “democracy” to Guyana in 1989?
Freddie, others and you must tell the truth on how Hoyte gained power in Guyana.
Freddie, you must tell the truth that Burnham rigged election and lead till death.
The truth is Hoyte was more gluten for power thereby rigged election worse than Burnham.
Freddie, is it the truth that Hoyte gained 85 percent of all votes cast in free fair transparent election to be leader of Guyana?
Freddie, you do the math and then tell the truth how Burnham and Hoyte won elections in Guyana.
Do not trip your mind by bashing Indians in Guyana, telling them that they are “Stupid”
If Burnham and Hoyte got 70 to 85 percent of all votes cast then it means that more Indians than blacks were voting to put them in power.
Freddie, you must tell the Guyanese people the truth and the truth is, Burnham and Hoyte bankrupt Guyana.
The truth is Guyana became a failed state under their leadership.
The truth is Hoyte and his PNC could no longer beg, borrow, steal from Guyanese or the International Community, therefore it had to relinquish power.
The truth is Hoyte was begging US and the International Community to send money instead of tamper proof ballot boxes.
So how could you insult Indians, when according to you they voted overwhelmingly for Burnham and Hoyte.
Do the math Freddie and you will know the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. T. King
