GRFU Raffle drawing set for October 24
The drawing of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has been fixed for October 24.
A release from the GRFU informed that the Raffle in aid of Guyana’s Men’s and Women’s Team participating in the North America & Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) Men’s and Women’s Sevens Championships to be held in Mexico City on 14th & 15th November, was scheduled to be drawn on Saturday September 26.
However, they have rescheduled that date so the raffle will now be drawn on Saturday October 24 at Olympic House, 76 High Street, Kingston, at 12:00 noon.
The GRFU has been involved in several fund raising efforts to ensure the finance is realised for the two teams travel. Corporate has also been forthcoming in this regard.
