Guyanese reporter nominated for St Maarten Tourism Award
The Crystal Pineapple awards organising committee is well on its way to putting together a fun-filled programme for the big event on Friday November 27 at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort’s Convention Centre.

Guyanese Alex Holder is among the nominees. Artemia Event Planners, for a third year, has planned a wow atmosphere for SHTA’s yearly event, which has become one of the highlights for the evening.
In a release, the nominations for Outstanding Community Service are Cake House Bakery & Supermarket, GEBE Supermarket Challenge. Shelly Alphonso from Positive Foundation, Ludwig Quenniche, and VKS are also among the nominees.
Guyanese Alex Holder from the Today Newspaper is the lone nominee thus far for Outstanding Tourism Journalism. For Outstanding Community Tourism; St. Maarten Yacht Club/Heineken Regatta has secured that nomination.
