Berbice after conceding first innings points to the Rest Team rebounded to inflict a crushing 168 runs win against the Rest Team in their four-day Guyana Cricket Board organised match yesterday, at the DCC ground in Queenstown.
Resuming the day on 223-8, needing 414 runs for an outright victory, the Rest Team overnight batsmen Keyron Fraser and Steven Latcha along with last man Seon Daniels lasted just ten minutes before the innings closed. First to go was Latcha, who fell to the right arm leg-spin of Devendra Bishoo, before last man Seon Daniels after hitting Narsingh Deonarine for a big six, offered a return catch to the same bowler to end the innings. Fraser was left not out.
