Rat got a way of squeezing into the smallest space, just like cockroach. Nuff people poison rat and had to rip out wall boards to get out de dead ones. Dem like lock demselves down in tight space.
Cockroach too. Dem does squeeze demself in any small opening. Dem boys had some cassareep and dem cork it down but dem have a space between de cork and de bottle. When dem ready to mek de pepper pot dem find a cockroach in de pot. It come out wid de cassareep. Another time dem didn‘t see it and is only when dem was eating dat dem see de wing. Dat cause problems.
Well de rats just as bad. Guyana is one big rat hole and dem boys seh dat de treasury is one big cheese bin. Cheese is a ting dat does smell and rat always attracted to de smell. Mice does follow dem too and although dem have a smaller mouth, dem just as destructive. Guyana got nuff rat and mice and all of dem diving into de li’l crease in de treasury.
