Why a mane change?
Dear Editor,
I wish to refer to Mr. T. Pemberton’s letter titled, “Rename Tiger Bay to Nation’s Bay,” in your September 14 edition.
I am not aware, and I could be wrong, of any part of the area being officially named “Tiger Bay.” The ward or district is referred to as North Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
But even if that were the case, why a name change? Why would it be “awesome” to rename the area “Nation’s Bay?”
