Survival Travel Agency Trophy at stake
Tomorrow evening for the very first time at the DCC Ground, Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown the Floodlights Squad will be playing a very powerful DCC Select side with some present and past national players in a feature 25 overs softball match starting at 6:00pm.
DCC will be skippered by Roger Harper, the former Guyana, West Indies player and coach, and includes former national player Mark Harper, Gavin Nedd, Alfred Mentore, present national player Christopher Barnwell and West Indies Under-19 player Trevon Griffith.
The Floodlight team, who for the past three years have been going around the country and successfully doing fundraising matches for various organizations, will again be playing this match as a fund raiser for the Demerara Cricket Club and all sports enthusiast and the general public are asked to turn out and support.
Admission is free and all trophies are sponsored by Survival Travel Agency on Sheriff Street, located above the Survival Super Market.
