Cammie Ramsaroop Softball Cricket competitions set for October 4 start
The Cammie Ramsaroop Major and Minor League Softball Cricket competitions will open on October 4 with several matches at the Guyana Softball and Windball Cricket Association (GS&WCA) ground on Carifesta Avenue.
The event, in honour of PNC Chairman and Attorney-at-law Cammie Ramsaroop, is being sponsored by Untouchables Cricket Club of Berbice and coordinated by Royston Ramsarran.
The event is open to all interested teams and contact can be made with Royston Ramsarran on telephone numbers 618-2222 and or 216-1444. The organisers are also soliciting the services of umpires and interested and available umpires can contact Ramsarran.
At stake in the tournament are cash prizes and trophies. The finals of the two competitions will be played under lights at the GS&WCA ground and TV coverage has been arranged.
