More charges for threatening behaviour
Eon Bell yesterday appeared before Magistrate, Priya Beharry, faced with two counts of threatening language charges. However, after the virtual complainant in the matter spoke to the court, new allegations surfaced.
It is alleged that on August 5, Bell, on Princes Street, Georgetown, threatened Mary Simon. He pleaded not guilty.
But Mary Simon told the court that the defendant frequently molests and abuses her young children. She said that she was advised by the police prosecutor to visit the Brickdam Police Station and make another report.
After the new reports were made and the new information entered the court, the defendant was remanded to prison, and is to return to court on Friday.
