A Kuru Kuru mother is seeking the assistance of the public in finding her 16-year-old daughter who left home two Saturdays ago.
Roxanne Baptiste said that her daughter, Tiffany Baptiste, disappeared from their 600 Kuru Kuru, Soesdyke/Linden Highway home on July 11 last and has not been heard from since.
Missing: Tiffany Baptiste
A report has been made to the community’s Police station.
The mother said that at around 09:00 h she sent her daughter to buy chicken at a nearby shop. However, the young lady returned home some nine hours later, having apparently defied her mother’s order to return home with the chicken and then go to the hairdresser.
The child apparently spent the day at a relative styling her hair before returning home with the chicken.
“A give she two lashes because she didn’t do what I tell she,” the mother admitted. Ms Baptiste said she stepped out for a little and returned home to find that Tiffany was no longer in the house.
She said that she searched the home and realised that some of the young lady’s personal effects were also missing.
Tiffany Baptiste has not been heard from since. A report was filed at the local Police station.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the young lady is asked to contact her mother on telephone numbers 261-5544, 691-5125, or 639-1468 or the nearest police station.
