Roseline Ioana King, known as ‘Teacher Rose’ died yesterday after a brief illness. She was 104.
Live-in nurse, Sharon McRae told Kaieteur News that on Wednesday last, a doctor visited the centenarian and said that she was low.
King was continually monitored, and up until 3:00a.m (when last checked on) she was said to be in the same condition as of Wednesday last.
According to reports, it was at 6:30a.m yesterday morning that King, of Lot 157 Ogle Street, Triumph, East Coast Demerara, passed away.
Kaieteur News was made to understand that up till press time, arrangements for the funeral of Roseline Ioana King were yet to be made.
Her caregivers were awaiting the arrival of family members.
