Dear Editor,
Ms. Daly’s (Kaieteur News, 9th July) submitted her usual vacuous response. I do believe however, that this time she has realised a higher, even more impressive level of emptiness and inanity.
Extremes, whether negative or positive can be awe inducing, and I was left transfixed staring at her writing for a few moments before I could have gathered myself together. Then it occurred to me – this person might actually be taking herself seriously!
Ms. Daly, of the four names you mentioned, I know for sure that three are real persons – I do not know Robin Williams, but I was informed he is a Guyanese living in Atlanta.
No one however seems to know you, but guesses out there point to you being a senior government functionary.
Why don’t we meet to clear this up Ms. Daly? Don’t be afraid, I am already spoken for and I don’t bite, and since my word is more credible, I would be able to vouch for your existence.
Dr. Khemraj never painted Guyana with a broad brush, it is you, Ms. Daly, that is trying to do so with your all-is-well brush. Anyway, Dr. Khemraj can speak for himself and I am monumentally disinclined to respond to your insipid writing, since it will only generate more.
Maybe some people find your missives funny, and perhaps then we can say there is some purpose to you – much needed comic relief in these times.
In closing, as even school children would know, the three (four) Musketeers were honourable and brave fighters, and I thank you for placing me in their company.
