Doodnauth Singh being evacuated

Former Attorney General Doodnauth Singh is being flown out to the United States to undergo immediate heart intervention.

Mr Singh was admitted to Balwant Singh Medical Centre last week suffering from what is said to be an existing heart condition.

He was scheduled to be flown out this weekend but his condition reportedly deteriorated, necessitating the immediate evacuation.
