Five mothers happy after Digicel shopping spree
Five lucky mothers went on a $100,000 shopping spree compliments, of Digicel, on Saturday morning at Bounty Supermarket, the result of Digicel’s “Make Mom Lucky! Text 2 Win promotion.”

People had to text MOM to 1442 for a chance to win this opportunity for their mothers.
The five lucky mothers, Hermine Brandt, Claudette Simon, Aeline Jackman, Yesmin Khan and Johann Nedd teamed up with their sons and daughters and in one case, a husband, to grab as much as they could within the allotted two minutes.
Digicel Guyana Marketing and Communications Manager, Ramesh Rupchand, said “We are very excited that we gave children a chance to win such a fantastic present for their mothers.
“We know every mother likes to shop and this was quite evident in the shopping spree this morning.”
