Newline Cavaliers face Floodlights XI tonight
The Newline Cavaliers team, fresh from their victory at the Providence Stadium in the DJ Stress 20/20 tournament, will now try their hand in the softball version of the game when they take on the Floodlights X1 tonight at the GCC ground, Bourda.
The 25-over a side clash begins at 6:30 pm and is sponsored by Gopaul Boojraj of Mahaica. At stake is the Rohan Auto Spares trophy.
The New Line Cavalier Squad: Gajanand Singh (captain), Seenarine Mathura, Chabiraj Ramcharan, Varendra Shiwratan, Sham Persaud, Saheed Gittens, Quasim Shareed, Raymond Phagoo, Lalta Digamber, Anand Sanasie, Ravi Persaud, Carl Chinian, Sean Boodlall, Salim Azeez.
Floodlights X1 will come from: Mike Singh (captain), Rohan Boojraj, Jailall Deodass, Avinash Deokie, Rocky Deokie, Fidel Singh, Rahaman Khan, Ramesh Sunich, Goverdhan Arjune, Reaz Hussain, Derick Ramoutar, Ricky Deonarine, Kayume Haslim, Mark Harold.
