GSL Trophy Stall 15-over Softball cricket
Competition in the Guyana Softball League organised Trophy Stall sponsored softball cricket for teams countrywide, continued last weekend with several matches which saw Super Street, Bad Boys and Bhaiya among the winners.

ZONE A: WEST COAST DEMERARA:
Leonora Primary School Ground: 9:00am:
Wolf Warriors gained a walkover from Leonora Youths.
12.00 Noon:
Superstreet XI defeated Raiders XI by one wkt.
Raiders XI batted first and scored 115 all out in 15 overs (Ganesh Narine 28; Trevor Foo 21; Bharat Ramdial 3-20 from 3 overs; Neil Persaud 2-20 from 3 overs). Superstreet XI replied with 120-9 in 14.5 overs (Tameshwar Budai 25; Somnauth Heeralall 20; Rakesh Deochand 3-12 from 3 overs).

Christianburg Ground: 9:00 am:
Bad Boys XI beat West Watooka SC by 9 wkts.
West Watooka SC won the toss and batted and scored 44 all out in 8.3 overs (Steve Ramotar 4-10 from 2.3 overs). In reply Bad Boys XI made 45-1 in 5.4 overs (Doodie Bridgelall 19 not out; Wayne Williams 16 not out).

Bhaiya XI defeated Banks DIH by 5 wkts:
Banks DIH batted first and scored 154 – 8 in 15 overs (Steve Rocco 42; Anand Bharat 4-20 from 3 overs; Seenauth Bissessar 3-15 from 3 overs). Bhaiya XI made 155-5 in 13.5 overs in reply (Anand Bharat 78 not out).
Meanwhile the knockout stage will begin shortly to determine which teams go through to the countrywide Quarter- finals.
