Re-migrant found dead
Police have not ruled out foul play in the death of a 67-year-old re-migrant pensioner whose body was discovered at his home at Strathcampbell, Mahaicony around 14:05 hours yesterday.
Kaieteur News understands that the police were summoned to the home of Vandengard Morrison, a re-migrant from the United Kingdom and found him lying dead with blood oozing from his nostrils.
However detectives found no marks of violence on the body and are awaiting a post mortem examination to continue with their investigations. According to reports, Morrison who lived alone was discovered dead by a relative, who went to his home after not seeing him for several days.
The relative quickly called in the police.
A little over a month ago another British re-migrant was found dead in his house at D’Urban backlands in what has now been confirmed a murder.
