Retired nurse’s decomposed body found

NEW AMSTERDAM, BERBICE – The decomposed body of 78-year-old, Enid Fraser, of Vryman’s Erven, New Amsterdam, was discovered about 09:10 hours yesterday.

According to police reports, a nephew made the discovery after neighbours reported a disgusting odour emanating from the area. The nephew went to investigate and found the body.

The woman, who lived alone, was last seen on March 26, at her home. Police ruled out foul play.

Ms. Enid Fraser retired from the New Amsterdam Hospital several years ago. At that institution she held several senior positions. The body is at the hospital awaiting a post mortem tomorrow.
