Armed robbery in Bush Lot
Early yesterday morning, three masked gunmen attacked and robbed businessman, Latchman Pooran just outside of his home in Bush Lot, Corentyne.
According to the police, Pooran was checking his Canter, which was parked along the road, at approximately 3:30 hours yesterday when the gunmen attacked him.
The three masked men held him up and led him into his house where they demanded that he hand over cash and jewellery.
The bandits escaped with $2 million cash and a quantity of jewellery. The police are still investigating.
