An apology to Patrick van Beek
Patrick van Beek, the husband of Commissioner of Insurance, Maria van Beek, severed ties with CL Financial in January 2006.
He worked with a Caribbean Money Market Brokers Limited, a subsidiary of CL Financial, in 2005.
Kaieteur News apologises for incorrectly reporting that Mr van Beek was still associated with CL Financial, and for implying that there was a conflict of interest on the part of his wife Maria van Beek.
