Teen remanded on armed robbery charge

Devon Prince, 19, was yesterday remanded to prison after a court appearance before Magistrate Hazel Octive Hamilton.
The accused, on March 15 last, allegedly robbed Troy Baksh of US$400 and a cell phone while armed with a dangerous weapon. He was not required to plead.
According to Police Prosecutor Robert Clement, bail should be refused since more charges are likely to be laid against the defendant.
The accused is expected to make his next court appearance on April 1.
