Why write about the GRA in such a negative way?

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) would like to thank H.A Latchana for his comments, opinions and views about the GRA.
It would appear that the writer has a penchant for misinformation concerning the organisation. It is not the intention of the GRA to reply to every letter appearing in the press, since it is our intention to engage in constructive comments and to educate the public about their rights and obligations as taxpayers as well as to assist them with other information.
It is very unfortunate for persons to personalise their feelings about the organisation.
The GRA is an autonomous organisation, and therefore it is not befitting for any Guyanese to be writing about an organisation in such a negative manner.
The GRA has been achieving its targets every year and has recently adopted the principle of a functional organisation, moving from one based on tax type which will serve to further enhance revenue performance and tax administration.
