Crane man gets 4 years for robbery
A well known character will be spending the next four years behind bars. He was convicted of robbery under arms charge.
The accused, 20-year-old Conrad Henry, of Crane Housing Scheme, West Coast Demerara, made a court appearance on Tuesday at the Leonora Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Fazil Azeez.
On February 21, last, Henry robbed Jankey Ram and her daughter, Kavita, of some $46,000 in cash. The charges were read separately
To each the accused pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years for each offence.
