Security guard murdered in Mabura
On Friday last a security guard, Mineo Holder, 38, attached to Demerara Timbers Limited in Mabura, was murdered at approximately 19:00 hours.
Holder’s body was discovered in the doorway of another security guard also attached to Demerara Timbers Limited. According to the police, Holder and the other security guard had earlier argued over an undisclosed sum of money.
The suspect has not yet been apprehended by the police.
Holder’s body had stab wounds to the abdomen and is awaiting a post mortem examination at the McKenzie Hospital. The police have said that they will be continuing their investigations.
