NSC Mash Badminton tourney continues
The National Sports Commission Mashramani Junior Singles Badminton tournament continued on Friday at the Queen’s College Courts with the Under 15 & 17 Singles Events.
Several players recorded outstanding performances to highlight latest round of matches. Action was set to continue yesterday at the same venue.
Results from the matches played off were as follows:
Under-15 Boys Singles:
Clive Bender defeated Ashwyn John: 21-9, 21-16
Alexander Paul defeated Sachin Ramdhani: 21-7, 21-16
Kevin Quaicoe defeated Christopher Shewjattan: 21-14, 21-7
Andrew Peroune defeated Alexander Paul: 21-19, 10-21, 21-10
Narayan Ramdhani defeated Dennis Nelson: 21-9, 21-6
Under-15 Girls Singles:
Blossom Dublin defeated Mariah Low: 21-16, 21-19
Anuradha Odit defeated Priyanna Ramdhani: 21-12, 21-16
Under-17 Boys Singles:
Andrew Peroune defeated Avinash Odit: 21-12, 17-21, 21-18
Under-17 Girls Singles:
