Five categories to be contested at Mash Badminton competition
The Guyana Badminton Association will begin its season of activities with the staging of the Annual Mashramani Junior Singles Tournament which starts this Friday, at the Queens College Courts.
According to President of the Association Gokarn Ramdhani, five categories will be contested with the Under-11 and 13 set to serve off on Friday and end the following day, while the U-15, 17 and 19 divisions will run from February 20-22, at the same venue.
The defending champions are: U-11 and 13 (Boys) Narayan Ramdhani; Under-11 (Girls) Priyanna Ramdhani; U-13 (Girls) Asharnica Persaud; U-15 (Boys) Nicholas Ali; U-15 (Girls) Anissa Rodrigues and U-19 (Girls) Avashti Persaud. Entries close on February 12, 2009.
